We photograph and film weddings, and have done since 2013. Over eighteen hundred of them so far. We’re based in the Greater Toronto Area and we travel.

We sit down with you before the day and go through it properly. Which events matter most, who has to be in the family photos, what you want us nowhere near.
It’s not the interesting part of the job. It’s the reason things don’t get missed.

Engagement · Nikkah and reception portraits
An hour away from everyone, sometimes months before, sometimes between the ceremony and the reception. Two people, whatever light there is, and nobody watching.
The night before

Days before anything official happens. The house fills up, someone digs the dhol out of a cupboard, and nobody goes home.
Henna and haldi

Henna, turmeric, or both, depending on the family. Whatever yours calls it, it is the loudest and most crowded room of the week.
The arrival

Both families walking in. You hear it a long time before you see it, and there is always somebody’s grandmother waving at the back.
The ceremony

Usually the quietest hour of the whole week, and the only part of it that is actually binding.
The reception

We stay out of the way
The aim is to be as unobtrusive as we can, so most of the day gets documented as it actually happens. When a shot needs setting up we’ll step in and direct it, then get out of the way again.
